THE MISSION CATERS – A PRAHRAN MISSION INITIATIVE
Prahran Mission has been operating within the community since 1946, responding to and concentrating on the needs of long-term unemployed people living with a mental illness and homelessness.

Our aim is to challenge stigma and discrimination in order to develop social bridges that create social inclusion in our community.

Currently Mental illness affects one in five Australians and with a 70 to 80% unemployment rate among people living with a mental illness. With your support we can provide a range of pathways to training and employment whilst increasing dignity that comes with employment to those people that need it the most.
